Had 2 bookings: 5 nights, then extended & added 1 night through Booked.net bec hotel could not give same rate. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our 2-bedroom apt was very clean & a comfortable size for my family of 5. Excellent location. One building away is apm Mall with shops, foodcourt & a supermarket. This mall also has an exit to Wangfujing. Another supermarket right beside/behind hotel. Bus stop for forbidden city and beihai park across hotel. Short walk to subway.
The beds were very hard though I've read this is true of most hotels in China. There was no aircon during 4 out of our 6-night stay (the fan worked but there was no cold air). & even on the 2 nights we had aircon, they turned it off around midnight. The staff were very apologetic about this & explained that they can only turn on the aircon when the temp outside reaches a certain level. Not sure if there's a law in Beijing on this. We noticed that it was also warm inside the malls. Staff suggested to open the windows but there was construction going on all around and Beijing's air is very polluted. We visited in mid May so outside temp was 50's to 80'S. Will stay again if we visit in very cold or very hot weather season.

The location which is close to Wangfujing shopping area, and also within walking distance to two subway stations, which make it accessible to various tourist spots.
Only one key to the room, which was rather inconvenient for our family of five.

Excellent location near Forbidden City, very friendly and helpful staff, modern amenities, large rooms with plentiful wardrobe space.
Room was advertised to contain "a kitchen, washing machine and a dishwasher" but had none of these things. Wired internet only available in master bedroom. School playground next to hotel made for loud mornings. Beds were not as comfortable as those in most modern Western hotels.

The location is great and the doormen are fantastically helpful.
The hotel does not offer Wi-Fi, which is a big problem for business travellers. Although there is an internet connection, it is slow and located in a not very comfortable place in the rooms. Also, they reception staff speak very limited English and are not very knowledgeable when it comes to English names of locations and venues in the City.

The room was very spacious and clean. the location was great for shopping.
we booked a room with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a private balcony as stated in our voucher, instead,we were given only 1 bathroom and no balcony. We complained but we were given several excuses about how they were fully booked, etc, Finally, after talking to the manager we were given the right room only after we asked for a discount.
